Soft Drums
$79.00
Organic, Fluffy & Textured
Soft Drums is a traditional drum kit recorded with a deliberately soft touch, hit with a fluffy beater and muffled with tea towels for a quiet, textured tone full of room. Built from drummer Joel Cameron’s vintage kit (Ludwig, Tama, and Pearl) through vintage preamps, it captures the organic, intimate sound that sits beautifully under vocals and acoustic instruments. The library spans three kicks, three snares, and three tom sets, with up to seven velocity layers and five round robins per drum for a natural, human feel, plus 203 loops across eight tempos. Built for the free Kontakt Player and delivered via Native Access.

THE ARTIST | Joel Cameron
Joel’s contribution to Soft Drums is nothing short of extraordinary. He has generously shared his collection of vintage drums, including renowned brands like Ludwig, Tama, Pearl, and more. What sets Joel apart is his extensive knowledge of recording techniques, and he has graciously loaned us a selection of vintage preamps from Neve and API, along with his custom-built preamps from the Rascal Audio product line. Beyond his exceptional gear collection, Joel’s skills as a drummer, recording engineer, and producer shine through in every sample.
